It has been a long time since I have been active here on DeviantArt, and I am truly glad to see it still thriving all these years later! I confess, I need a bit of help from you here that I would not seek anywhere else - I've grown to struggle in creating art just for me [rather than for work or a project] as I once loved to do in the days I was here much more often. So while I won't commit to a timeline for anything, I hope to be inspired to just create for the joy of it with you all once more! That being said, here's a bit about me:

Art Background:

Before taking an extended break to pursue my graduate degree, I freelanced in the realms of graphic design and digital painting and I worked under my own personal brand - CoralineDarkDesigns. Using this name, I created original videos on YouTube, worked in commissions, design original works, and streamed my process on Twitch where I had a small following. As I reach the end of my degree [typing this Mar 2022], I am intent on starting these up again, so if you are interested in commissioning me in any of my different art styles, please contact me on my website www.coralinedarkdesigns.com, and considering following me on any of my linked socials!

Work Background:

My name is Meagan Couture - known online as CoralineDarkDesigns. I am a trained Game Designer with experience working on a number of small game and immersive film projects in a wide variety of roles. I have also worked as a freelance digital artist under the name CoralineDarkDesigns since 2018 and have since held positions as a Graphic Designer and Graphics Specialists in research labs and nonprofit festivals such as IndieCade. I have spent some time streaming and working with streamers and have a strong grasp on the types of multimedia graphics often used in the streaming and social spaces. I am confidence in both my creative skills and my team management and organization skills, and in everything I am always seeking to learn and grow further.

History with DeviantArt:

All of the work here on DeviantArt stretches back to my earliest days of becoming an artist and it remains the only [mostly] unfiltered site I keep for my development as an artist. This way, I can always look back at my work and see where I was, where I am, and where I'm going! DeviantArt has a special place in my heart for helping push me forward as a young artist, and hopefully it can help renew the spark in doing art just for fun that I've been losing as I enter my early career years.
